Muscles!

I love going to the gym with TOMMY. He is the best workout partner. I just love him! Some days I love him so much I make up some wonderful names for him. Some days I love him so much I don't even bother going near him at the gym because the love is just spewing from me like verbal vomit. Some days I just love him so much I lay on the mat and stretch the entire time we are at the gym just so I can watch him lift. That is because Some days... I just don't want to be there. He is so dedicated and some days I am not! Thankfully I am waaaaay too competitive to let him get more days in than me.

When we first started dating he would always say to me, "The couple that works~out together, stays together." I am sure that is not always the case for some people, but it has sure worked for us for over 10 years now. There are days that I just really don't want to be there.....After all, 30 Reese's peanut butter cups does sound better than 50 pound dumbbells most days. But..

There is something to be said for
climbing up that hill,

when you would rather slide down it,
for doing the sit ups,

when you would rather lay down,
and

for lifting the weights,

when you would rather lift the chocolate!

Thank you for getting me to LIFT UP all those evil weights, so I can GO DOWN in jean sizes my love! I love you, even when I am so sore I can't pick up the baby!
