Party Weekend

I wish I had taken a picture of it.... I will have to let you imagine this... We are usually really easy going parents when it comes to birthdays. We always let the kids dig into their cakes with their hands when they were little. We still let Pudgie! (Keep that in the back of your mind) For birthday's we always do a family night anywhere of choice. Jax chose Peter Piper again. Perfect! The kids love it and we can be a little less cautious about Pudgie...I thought. The night is perfect..kids are playing and playing and playing and our neighbor even joined us. Tons of birthday parties are going on. I was chatting with Tommy and dinner was through. Perfect. It was about 8 or so and gathering up our kids is usually a chore but that is ok. Now think of a cartoon where someone is looking for something and in slow motion they see something about to go horribly wrong...the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH" comes out of their mouths and they are lunging and it is inevitably tooooo late. That was both Tommy and I at the exact same time in the exact same tone............ Now that you are picturing this... Here is my sweet little Pudgie standing there with yellow frosting all over his little shirt, face, hands and pants. He had grabbed a yummy handful of delicious yellow M & M Ice cream cake off the table. The beautiful cake that had not had a chance to even have the candles put on it yet.
