Cool!

Jax scared the heebiegeebies outta me this morning. He decided he did not want to be running late for school so he came down the stairs like a tornado at 6:05 am. I thought I would faint as he nearly ran me over in the kitchen.

I usually have my own little routine in the morning......My own quiet time for about 2 hours. Not today!

We sat and had breakfast together watching American Gladiators. Jax is a cool kid. I have three cool kids, but Jax is my big boy COOL kid. I drank my protein shake and he had his Smart Start and we just hung out for about 45 minutes together. I finally just looked at him and said, "You are such a good boy!" He said, "Yeah, I know." I laughed and said, "I am serious Jax, you are a very good boy and I am so proud of you. You are pretty cool and I am glad you are mine!" He kinda tilted his head and said, "Yeah, well you are a cool mom (I am used to hearing that I am the meanest Mom on the block so that was nice)....NOW can we just watch the Gladiators?"
