The littlest Jensen went off to all day pre-school this morning. He has been talking about it all summer. Every morning he wants to go with Jax and Binky to school and cries when I tell him he does not start school until later.
Tommy and I waited until everyone was back into school to start Pudgie this year. It was really me more than anything. He drives me crazy most days, but a part of me was not crazy enough to let him go, yet. He still has two full years before kindergarten thanks to his late birthday, so there is no need for full-time pre-school yet....but this mom needs a break now!!!
He will go full days, but just a few days a week. I can't see sending him to only 3 hours of pre-school. That is the selfish person in me. I want the whole darn day to myself!!!!!!
And, today, it was magical and quiet and no cartoons were heard at all in my house.... or the television, for that matter!!!

My kitchen is sparkling. The tile, well, you can eat off of it... the house smells like pine sol and the dishes are done. (This will last until 3:00 p.m. when the crumb-snatchers finally come back home!!)
On a super funny side note, well, not actually, but still ... Pudgie still wears a pull-up when he sleeps just in case... well, the cheap person in me refuses to buy the expensive ones anymore since they really just go to waste... so the Fry's brand have Policemen in a patrol car and Firemen in a firetruck. Well, when I put him to bed I told him not to wet, "because policmen don't like it when you pee in their cars, so they take you to jail when you do that!!l" I KNOW..... not smart on my part, I hated the stupid comments parents would make about cops taking their kids to jail in front of me when I was in uniform ...... but rather funny I thought...since I was a cop.....
UNTIL........... PUDGIE PAYBACK TIME.......
2:30 a.m. Pudgie is sitting on the floor in my bedroom bawling hysterically. When I asked him what was wrong he gulped out,
"PUDGIE GOING TO JAIL...PUDGIE PEE'D IN THE POLICE CAR."
I deserved that one!

Hmm just think what our posts will say 2 years from now when the boys go to school ALL DAY for 5 days. That's a little bit sad to think about. But for now, enjoy your alone time.
LOLOLOL! Pudgie. What a crack-up that boy can be. I didn't know that he was going to all-day preschool! Wow! That's a big step! I guess you probably know that Meeka is starting Kindergarten on Monday. I've been crying for days. I know-- I need to snap out of it.
