Our latest visit to the orthopedic surgeon went as well as can be expected. We really love our physicians assistant, Melissa. She has just been so wonderful to Jax. Jax had numerous options once his temporary cast came off. After seeing and feeling the pins that were exposed from his hand, Jax opted for the hard cast to cover the pins. I had to agree. He could have left them completely exposed or put a removable splint on it, but between all of us, I think we were both pretty freaked out at seeing those darn pins. The bones are healing remarkably fast and he is doing wonderful!!! I couldn't be happier with this patient!!!
It was a very painful visit. His doctor was pretty rough with his fingers but I know he needs to get them moving. His homework assignment, play the XBOX 360 as much as necessary to get the movement back into his fingers. He was pretty much over the moon excited about that!!! Justice isn't complaining about that either!! He has his buddy back so they sit together, for hours, "STUDYING!!!"

He is to young to get hurt playing football!! Travis would freak out if that happened to Harley. You guys are so brave letting him play football so young! I hope he gets better soon. And can recover fast and want to play again.. xoxo
Kelly, He will be ready to play again in a few weeks. He loves this game. For him it was really no big deal. The beak didn't hurt too bad...the surgery was another story. He is pretty tough but this one took a toll on me. It has been a rough month on our family. Wait until you read my next post. If you have been watching the news at all, you wouldn't know it was Tommy, because they don't say his name, but he was hit by a drunk driver a week and a half ago at work. Talk about some stress around here!!!!!
OH no!! I am so bad I never watch the news!! Is he ok?? Im so sorry DeAnna.. I hope everything is ok, if you need anything please let me know! So glad Jax is feeling better on recovering. He is one tough "big" kid!! Im sure it has been really hard on you with all you have going on. Please know we will be praying for you guys. Loves!
