It was hard for me to see what it said? Did it say he was accepted?? When is his bday again?? WHy do you want to put him in early? I would wait till next year if possible.. It's better for boys to be older.. For so many reasons. Sports, and they are usually not as smart as us girls. But you do what you feel is right. :)
HE IS AN EARLY EARLY SEPT BIRTHDAY. HE WAS ACCEPTED AND WILL BE GOING. I JUST COMPARE WHERE HE IS ACADEMICALLY WITH WHERE MY OTHER TWO WERE AND HE IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS AHEAD OF THEM. IT WAS HARD TO EVEN LET HIM TEST BUT TOMMY WAS REALLY SURE HE WANTED THE BOYS IN SCHOOL TWO YEARS. HE WILL BE FINE AND MY KIDS ARE REALLY SMART SO I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT IT. I AM BEING A SELFISH MOM WITH IT BEING MY LAST BABY.
SIZE WISE... MY BOYS WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY. JAX IS NEARLY AS TALL AS ME, WEIGHS ALMOST 120 POUNDS AND IS WEARING A SIZE 12 SHOE..... INSANE.
Oh MY LORDY!! Jax is huge! That's crazy.. I did'nt mean that your kids were not smart or big boys.. I know they are!
Ryker is starting late he missed the cut off with an ocotber bday. So he will be 6 soon! And Talan's bday is in sept too. So I will be in your boat too.
I hope you will be ok the 1st day of school! I know I am already tearing up thinking of my little Ryk starting kindergarten!! I cant beileve it! It's a sad day..
What are you going to do with all 3 kids in school? Is it full day @ your school??
No, I know you were not saying anything about smarts and size. A lot of people are really into the whole "right now really matters for sports" like freakishly concerned, were as, we are not. Jax is really good at football, but if he ever got in to any trouble at all at school... that would end, abruptly. I see way too many kids having behavior issues that go un-punished because mommy and daddy are so concerned with their 10 year old preparing for a scholarship... yeah.. that don't fly in this house. I am sure you know what I am saying!!!
I was truly devastated when we got the notice.... I don't think I really stopped crying until Monday night.
I have thought and thought and thought on this one. It is going to be really hard come July. It is all day. We will have half day option but I hated it when Jax was in half day so there was no way I was going to do that with the other two. Plus Kelly, the learning curve here is so much more difficult than what ours experienced in Weinberg. I am not kidding when I tell you how lucky I am that Jax is the student he is because he basically had to re-do all the learning from Kindergarten for this school, along with his 1st grade learning.
I rememberede that Ryker was Oct.from when I was prego with Pudgie on the first day of school and you guys took our picture since Tommy was with the CHP training. I never, ever realized that birthday's were such a big deal. I went through kinder. at 4 years .. the entire year... because that is how Catholic school in NE rolled.
I am sure that I will be a basket case the night before. Luckily I will be at the Justin Bieber concert with Brinkley and won't be able to cry about it until the next morning.
I am just gonna make this the most rocking summer ever for these kids. We had planned nothing at all for the summer except a few little things and Brinkley has a camp she is going to but now..... look out!!!!!!
Hey, do the boys go to Haley? That is where we tested at and that school is amazing!!!
p.s. YES, JAX IS ENORMOUS... WELL, THAT IS WHAT I AM TOLD SINCE I AM SO USED TO BEING WITH HIM I DON'T SEE IT, EXCEPT WHEN HE EATS AN ENTIRE LARGE PIZZA...ALONE!!!! AND TO THINK... HE REALLY HAS NOT EVEN "STARTED" GROWING, THE DOCS SAY!!!! I BET HE WILL OUT SIZE TRAVIS!!!!
OH my heck, I feel for you! You will do great!! And if Justice is ready, Go for it!! You will have all 3 kids in school!! A lot of mom's will be jealous! ;)
Harley and Ryker are still @ weinberg! I really LOVE that school. They have made many improvements! It's rated really high in the Chandler District!
Ryker will have Mrs. Douglas!! So im happy about that, Cause I have formed a relationship with her over the years! So I trust her!
I heared Haley was great! We are just still zoned for Weinberg, plus I really like it! Harley has had great teachers to work with him!
I know what you mean about crazy sport parents!! It's funny cause Travis wont even let us put Harley in Football yet! (and he was a Football player) He just knows how the parents are and how the kids get burnt out before High School even starts!
We have just been doing soccer to work on cordination, then maybe we will do football.
And Yes, I think your boys will out grow Travis for sure! I told trav about Jax, and he was amazed!
Harley weighs like 68 pounds, and I thought he was tall!! I will have to measure him!
I hope you have a great summer!! It's the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! Im so ready for it!!!!!! And this week is my last week of being 28!;(
