New Beginnings..

Brinkley got to celebrate her birthday in class today. Her teacher is just wonderful. I brought in doughnuts and water for the kids and spent some of the afternoon watching all the kids in class. Binky is definitely growing up. I am so glad that she is amazingly well behaved in class. I hear horror stories of children that can't seem to control themselves or do some pretty disgusting things in class, so I know how lucky Tommy and I are that both the kids are examples in class!

After school Binky and I ran some quick errands to get ready for her party tomorrow! We got home from the store in the nick of time. Grammie and Grampie Alkire rounded the corner to our house just as we were unloading all the goodies from our car.

It is the first time that our little ones are meeting Grampie Ken and it has been almost two years since we have seen Grammie Alkire. We are hoping that it won't be such a long time passing this time around! Life is just too short!!!

Binky got to end the night with our family dinner! She chose Peter Piper Pizza. How I took so few pictures, I will never know! At any rate, it was the start of a great, great weekend!!
