I often wish I we still lived closer to my sister and her kiddies. My little ones miss their cousins so darn much that I feel like we have jipped them by moving way out to Gilbert. Although, when they do get together, they love almost every second together and they appreciate it so much more.
I have had my 3 nieces for a few days now and the fun is going non-stop. Two of them even ventured to the gym with me this morning. My kids are actually behaving like humans and I am somewhat sane! Makes for a good end of spring break let me tell you!!!
Today was Water park Wednesday for the crumbsnatchers. I was so excited to see my neighbors there. Ruth and Kelly remembered me telling them I was going to take all 6 kids there on Monday night, right as Pudgie started projectile barfing in the garage. They surprised me and saved chairs for all of us and all the kiddies played all morning! It was a blast watching Pudgie finally start to want to go under the water and get splashed.
I have to say, the best part, for me, were the looks of disgust I was getting that my 3 year old was wearing my Pink Taco hat. Some people are just slightly too uptight in this world I tell ya. Plus, I was the most ill-prepared mother on the planet there today. I didn't even have my swimsuit on since we went straight from the gym, grabbed my kiddies that were still at home and off we went to have some fun in the sun. And besides... if my 3 year old wearing that hat to keep the sun off his precious blonde hair was offensive... I wonder if they looked in the mirror when they put their suits on, before they left their house......hmmmm... can you say.....exercise?????
(You can hear the tolerance in this post, or lack there of today, can't you?)

2 Lightbulb moments:
What a fun place. Where is that? I'm hoping this summer I can get the kids to enjoy the water for the first time. Any fun ideas about where to go would be great! Thanks.
HI NICOLE. THIS ONE IS THE MESQUITE GROVES AQUATIC CENTER AT BASHA HIGH SCHOOL. RIGGS AND LINDSAY BASICALLY. 50 CENTS FOR MUNCHIES AND 1.50 FOR ADULTS.
I MADE A DEAL WITH MINE THAT WE WILL GO AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK IF THEY BEHAVE IN THE SUMMER. IT IS A LOT OF FUN AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY RELAX WITH THE LITTLE KIDS PLAYING IN THE KIDDIE POOL!!!
