SUCKDOM....

I don't know what it is... but about every three months or so, I go through a serious case of suckdomism. Everything just flushes itself right down the proverbial toilet and everything just sucks. Seriously.

I did so phenomenally well with my workouts over the holidays that I got down to 15% body fat and won another membership to our gym. My workouts had me getting flippen ripped and then we all got sick and I have spiraled out of control ever since. It, again, sucks. This month we are having a 5000 squat challenge. Tommy smartened up. He bowed out gracefully, or not so, and me, well, I the not-so-smart one, took the challenge head on. Some days I walk funny... ok, funnier than normal, because of it. At any rate, all my workouts are in suckdom mode.

I have no desire to use our beautiful pull up bar we have in the garage now. I was up to 7 in a row without dropping to shake the hands but then I just started grimacing when I got under it. I absolutely loathe the squat bench I use everyday. I walk by it and flash terrible hand gestures to it. Like it will hurt its feelings or something. Like it really cares. I even kick it sometimes. Like a dog that has been bad.

I woke up this morning with one thing on the brain. I have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks and my butt needs to shrink....... and my shoulders need more striations and my abs... well, they need cosmetic surgery but that is another story.

So onward and upward because it really sucks,

sucking!

So are those pictures supposed to make us feel better or just want to go stick our faces in a pan of brownies??? Which is exactly what I did after our workout today. And again at lunch. And once again just now. And now I want to go puke. I'm in suckdom mode too... I cant snap out of it. That dang rower I swear. And you missy, you always rock it. Plus, you are always really motivated. Give yourself another week and you'll be back to normal. Don't you feel like you work so hard to gain anything and then it's gone faster than you can blink? Like you're sick for two week, and bam- back to square one. Ok this is a really long comment!! But you kicked my A today, not that that means much, but you can at least feel good about that and rub it in my face ; ).

You look amazing in those photos! Seriously? I only look that way in my dreams! I used Greg Lake as my trainer and I really liked him. I doubt you need one, but when I follow his workouts I see definition quickly. I did a post about him on my blog if you want to check him out.
Also, I never ordered anything, although I need to. The doctor that gave me the need to use one of those bra's (:-)) uses them b/c she's a runner. She said she doesn't move a bit with them and strongly recommends them. If you end up getting one, maybe we can go in on shipping together?
Good luck with your workouts. I hate the squat rack too. But not as much as working my hams.

Hi Deanna! I only wish I was as motivated as you! Good luck to you!

Wow. Coming from about the least sucky person on the planet (in my humble, but important opinion) I feel rather sucky, too, now. If you suck, then What Am I?!

LOL. I do truly love you, and you are the opposite of suck. More like... AWESOME SUPER RULER OF THE UNIVERSE! All you need is a cape, an intimidating name (No, DeAnna isn't enough), and a clumsy sidekick (that could be me). I'll be there right along, worshiping you and chowing down on my burrito as I cheer you on. :)
