Thanks Jax!

Jax was getting ready to take his shower last night and turned to me and asked me, "Hey mom, why did you start that blog?"

Now rewind a few weeks to a the boy who was mad that I made him fold his clothes by himself that was screaming (with huge tears streaming down his face) that I was mean and the only reason I was not doing it for him was because I had to BLOG!

I looked at Jax and told him that,

"I want to do a better job keeping track of the things we do as a family, all the accomplishments, funny things, the good days and even the bad."

He had a strange look on his face.

"So you can't just remember these things anymore? You need to write them down or what?" (I wonder if I am supposed to feel old now?)

"Not exactly. Mommy is not the best at putting pictures around the house or updating the baby books so this is easy for me. I'm the lazzzzzy mom. Remember?"

"Not lazy, you are the maid. (This is our little family joke) Soooo why do you do it though?"

"Huh?" We are running late and patience is wearing thin so I say, "Ok Jax, If I die tomorrow, I want you to know that I loved you all and that even the littlest things made me smile and laugh and cry!"

Now he is thinking even harder..........and now I know that, with his final statement, THIS is why I BLOG!!

"Ummmm, You tried that once...didn't work out so well remember? God didn't want you!" He about faced into the shower!
